On April 23rd, 2019, the New Social Stratum Association in Xiangzhou district, Zhuhai, held a copyright symposium about new media industry. More than 20 people attended this conference, including the member representatives from branch of New Media Association of New Social Stratum Association in Zhuhai, and branch of Bar Association as well as New Social Stratum Association in Zhuhai. The principals attended the conference, including Network Communication and Social Work Administration of the office of Zhuhai committee cyberspace affairs commission as well as Zhuhai United Front Department New Stratum Work Administrative.

At the meeting, the participants expressed their views fully on copyright protection matters during the development process of new media. When sharing their own experience, the new media representatives raised the problems they were faced with now. Thus, the lawyers present at the conference offered all kinds of proposals for  legally protecting copyright about new media. At the last, the chairman of branch of Bar Association of New Social Stratum Association, emphasized that copyright protection should be claimed according to law. Meanwhile, the new media representatives showed that the new media industry should obey the law strictly and undertake social obligations, in order to make a world in which network consensus can develop benignly, for the development of Zhuhai.

This conference was the first copyright symposium about new media industry held by new social stratum association in Zhuhai, which will actively promote the development of Zhuhai Internet industry management, resources integration, information sharing, copyright protection and enhance coherence of the industry.
